Description

The Command series has always been highly regarded as a forgiving club featuring cutting edge weighting throughout the club head. The latest Command iron set is no different, featuring a weight distribution technology and wider sole. The wider then usual sole design combined with an under-cut cavity and rear weighting produce superior playability for all types of players.

What difference does the wide sole make? The wide sole prevents the club from digging into the turf ensuring more solid contact even on fat or thin shots. The lower center of gravity produces a higher launch angle.

How do the under-cut cavity and added weights in the rear of the club help? They dramatically increase the moment of inertia, reducing twisting and increasing accuracy, even on miss-hits. The weights also lower the center of gravity for optimal trajectory and feel.

Looking for a forgiving, game improving club with up-to-date technologies and maximum forgiveness, the Command irons are a perfect club for you. If you like the features of the irons the Command Q4 Driver and Command Q4 Fairway Woods are a perfect complement.

Bill rated this product * * * * * on 11/06/09 I bought a set of Pinemeadow "Acers" about 5 years ago, and it is time to get another set, because the faces have worn out (smooth-almost). In those last 2-3 years I've gone from a 13 hdcp to currently a 5.8 index. Boy was I disappointed to see you no longer have the Acer in your line. Did you eliminate it or sell it off to somebody else? I had such a good experience with them that I hesitate to go another route. By the way. When I did buy the Acers, I needed a +1/2" shaft. My wrder was placed on a Monday and the clubs were on my porch Thursday morning. Great job!!!!!!!!

Rudy rated this product * * * * * on 10/31/09 Where do I begin. Let start with customer service. Excellent. Great. The best. I am a left handed golfer and really wanted the Command Q irons. A co-worker of mine Ron (See his review below) just bought them and loves them, so I had to get a set however Pinemeadow does not carry these in left handed. So I tried anyways and spoke with Chris Carnahan who went out of his way and looked through the warehouse and found me a set. Great...Thank You...Now back to the irons themselves. I hit really well with these irons. I'm glad I did not blow a lot of money on a name brand club. These hit just the same and I saved a ton of money. (Sounds like a commercial) lol. These irons are very well made and has a great feel to them. These are all the irons I will ever need and use until they break. Then i'll just have to get another set. (For all you left handed golfer out there I just spoke to Pinemeadow this week and they told me that by the end of next week they will have a bunch the Command Q irons in Left Handed, just give them a call). Hope this review helps make up your mind. These are great irons, don't waste your money on the name brand stuff unless you have to have them because of the name. The quality is the same.

Barron rated this product * * * * * on 10/10/09 I got my set on 10/1/09. I went to the range to hit them, and I've played two par-3 rounds and one regular round since. I'm still getting a feel for them, but when I hit the ball cleanly, they're outstanding. I've had a couple other golfers remark that they look exactly like the Taylor Made r7 irons. The only negative is that I lost one of my excuses for not playing well. Can't blame the clubs anymore.

Ron rated this product * * * * * on 10/10/09 I can't say enough good things about Pinemeadow. Their customer service is excellent and their products are unbelievable. I just received my Command Q Irons yesterday, and I immediately took them to the driving range for a quick test. I upgraded from a set of knock-offs that I bought at a second-hand sporting goods store, so I felt I was definitely "stepping up" to a more decent set of clubs with these. I am pleased to say, after one bucket of range balls, that I can already tell a big difference in my shots with the Pinemeadow clubs. I am taller than most (6'6") and I used the automated club sizing program on the site to fit my clubs to me. Everything came out great! I opted for oversized grips, which I highly recommend for the money, and these clubs look, feel, and hit great! I can't wait to play my first round with them next week! I may write another review after that!

Tim rated this product * * * * * on 10/10/09 I love my new irons. Although I have had to spend time figuring out how far I can really hit them. They have added at least 15-25 yards in distance to everyone of my clubs. I have played 7-10 rounds with them now and they have been awesome. They have all had great flight and excellent control. For the price I paid. I definetly felt that I got a great deal! Thanks PM.
