Tim L rated this product on 08/24/08 From the performance aspect, these clubs are amazing for the price. They're much better than any other set you'll find in the price range. After purchasing the set, I immediately saw my irons go farther distances and much straighter than before. The problem is the longevity. Six months or so after purchasing the clubs, the black ring above the club head on my seven iron was loose. A few weeks later the entire head was loose and the club was useless. At that point I had lost the receipt which was my fault, but also meant no replacement for me. And now(15 months after purchasing the clubs) my eight iron has feel victim to the same thing, and I have a five-hybrid that has the black piece loose as well. In other words, it seems to be a problem. My advice is, if you're short on cash and just need a set to get you through a year or two of golf, go with Pinemeadow. I have no doubts of their ability to improve your golf game. But, if you have the money and would like a sturdy set that will last you for five years, you're probably better off going with a name-brand set. As of right now, I'm left debating whether I should give Pinemeadow another shot with the Command Q's, or just shell out the money for a Calloway set...
Heath rated this product on 08/13/08 I have owned this set of clubs for a year now. I was a first time pinemeadow shopper and I have to say I was skeptical. However, I couldn't be happier with the way these irons play. I am hitting the ball straighter than I ever have before. I highly recommend these irons.
Zachary rated this product on 07/29/08 Darren no there was no import tax or anything, but I'm in the military and have an APO address so i cannot see it making a difference, they arrived extremely fast, the total of it was about 20 dollars more but that was totalled for at the end of the bill, good luck with your purchase I highly recommend getting thier Irons, i've recently been playing alot of golf and had a decent set of callaways, and there is no real differnce in playability of these clubs! Pinemeadow is a class of its own!
BILL rated this product on 07/01/08 I HAD MY EXCEL CLUBS FOR 30 DAYS AND I LOVE THEM THEY MADE MY GAME MUCH BETTER I LIKE THE OVER SIZE HEADS ON THEM BEFORE I GOT THEM I IRONS DRIVES 120 YARDS FOR A 7 IRON NOW THEY GO 140 OR LONGER NOW I NEED SOME WOODS NEXT THANK YOU FOR MAKING A GREAT CLUB THNKS BILL
Gene rated this product on 06/27/08 Let me start out by saying I'm a golf equipment nut.I've owned Callaway, Mizuno, Titleist and Taylor made irons. Now I decided to branch out to "clone clubs" I've tried Krank,Geek,In Golf,Giga ,and Pine Meadow. For quality, customer service, and delivery P.M. is the best. The downside of this type of club is that they have no trade in value at your local golf store but the money saved makes up for this. The fit and finish of the clubs are close to name brands, not quite as good but close.Playability vs. name brand in my opinion is great. I'm a 15 handicap and think they are as good as anything I've played. They use the same shafts and grips as name brands unless you are looking for something way out of the norm. The heads are fine although the nameplates on the excels could be improved, they look cheap and the one on my 7 iron is coming off already. I purchased excel irons, bk irons, hybrids for both sets and a chrome and butte wedge for less than I would have paid for one set of name brands. Bottom line, if you are not a pro golfer and you are looking to save a ton of money , you're a beginner, or like me and just got tired of paying big money for clubs PM is a great company with a great line of equipment.
